A little about me:
Swimming is so much fun! I first learned how to swim when I was 6 months old and have been swimming ever since. Because I loved swimming so much, I became a certified lifeguard in 1995. I absolutely love teaching swim lessons! I have a background in teaching both adults and kids and couldn’t think of anything more rewarding then seeing each student achieve their success!

Each student, whether they are first starting out or brushing up on their skills will find each lesson packed with fun and leave feeling a sense of accomplishment. I love to give little challenges throughout the lesson that I know each student can achieve if they give it a try. I am a mom of two boys (3 and 8 years old) and I know how important it is to give positive feedback and encourage the students to try new skills in a safe environment and at their own pace. I always start each new beginner with the basics, because basic survival skills can go a long way! These are extremely important so that each student has a basis of swim knowledge and can only build from there.

Being a parent myself, I always welcome parents and students to share their goals and/or concerns with me. At the end of each session, I love to share the amazing accomplishments each student has achieved that night and talk about what we will be building upon in the next session!

I look forward to seeing you soon!
