A little about me:
I have been swimming since age 3 and teaching swim lessons since 2011. I teach swimming because I like the feeling of accomplishment when you teach someone how to swim. I also like working with children and adults. While it can be challenging work, it can also be fun. My teaching style is pretty traditional except for the way I communicate with the child/client. I want the client to feel comfortable in the water. If they’re comfortable then the possibilities are much more limitless.

I motivate children by figuring out what they like. Then I’m able to relate with them on another level and they will listen and be very attentive. I also have experiencing teaching students with special challenges. I meet parent’s goals by learning what they want for their kids, and incorporating that into our lesson.

I currently hold red cross certifications for life-guarding, first aid and AED. I’m looking forward to helping you reach your swimming goals!
