A little about me:
Hi, I’m Claudine! In terms of my prior swim experience, I have a solid background in both teaching swimming lessons and participating in competitive swimming. Over the years, I’ve dedicated a significant amount of time to honing my swimming skills and knowledge. My personality is marked by dedication, enthusiasm, and a strong commitment to safety, which are qualities I am proud bring into my role as a swim instructor.

I teach swimming because I am deeply passionate about water safety and believe that everyone should have the opportunity to learn how to swim and enjoy the water safely. My teaching style is highly adaptable, tailored to the specific needs of each student regardless of their age or skill level. When it comes to beginners, I have a unique talent for helping them build confidence and develop fundamental swimming skills. Teaching survival strokes as a priority for beginners is crucial because it equips them with the essential skills needed to stay safe in the water, which is always our top priority.

Motivating children is a key aspect of my teaching approach. I create an engaging learning environment, use positive reinforcement, and celebrate their achievements to keep them motivated and excited about learning to swim. I also have some experience teaching special needs students alongside their parents and adapt my methods to meet their unique requirements. To meet parents’ goals, I maintain open communication with them, ensuring that I understand their expectations and objectives for their child’s swimming education. I tailor my lessons to align with these goals, providing a customized learning experience that fosters progress and achievement.

I currently hold certifications in lifeguarding, CPR, and first aid, which enable me to respond effectively in any water-related emergency. With that being said, I’m eager to start teaching and to meet the families I’ll be working with!
