A little about me:
Hi! My name is Eliana, and I’ve been a swim instructor since 2022. I’ve worked with swimmers of different ages and skill levels, and I’m very comfortable helping both beginners and those looking to improve. I’d describe myself as patient, easygoing, and encouraging, which helps my students feel relaxed and confident in the water. I teach swimming because I genuinely enjoy helping people learn a life-saving skill while building their confidence. My teaching style is flexible and supportive. I meet each student where they’re at and make sure lessons are both effective and fun.

I especially enjoy working with beginners because I get to be part of their first experience in the water and help them feel safe. I believe strongly in teaching survival skills before focusing on formal strokes, because safety and confidence come first. Once a swimmer feels secure, everything else comes much easier. I like to motivate kids by keeping lessons fun, celebrating their progress, and building their confidence step by step. I’m patient with every student and can adapt to different learning needs. I also make sure to communicate with parents so I understand their goals and can support what they want their child to achieve.

I am CPR and First Aid certified and have completed swim-related training focused on water safety and instruction. Over the past 4 years, I’ve developed strong teaching skills and learned how to create a safe, positive, and encouraging environment for every swimmer I work with.
