A little about me:
I love to swim! I love being in the water and I swam for my high school’s swim team for 2 years. I am very encouraging, friendly, and aim to have students enjoy being in the water. I want students to have fun while they’re learning and to grow a positive relationship with the water. I make sure to address the needs of the parents and to achieve their goals for their children.

I love to teach beginners because I like to see the growth and improvement of the students. I also think it’s exciting for the students to see how far they have come. It’s important for students to learn survival skills such as floating, how to paddle, and how to do a resting stroke, so they can be safe in a situation that might require them to swim to safety. Anyone is capable of becoming a great swimmer, even those with special needs. Just as long as they understand that water-body relationship, the concept of “If my body does this in the water, then this will happen”.

My ultimate goal is to create confident swimmers who are safe in the water and have a passion for swimming. I can’t wait to meet and teach all of the students to come!

Currently I have certifications in CPR, lifeguarding, and first aid.
