A little about me:
Swim has always been a big part of my life, as I grew to love the water even from a young age. I have swam on several swim teams, and have been teaching a variety of different swim lessons. I am an instructor who cares greatly about their students, and I really enjoy watching my students progress throughout their time in the water with me. I think lessons are great even for those with fear of the water, because with patience and fun, any swimmer can become comfortable in the water and learn proper technique.
I find it both beneficial and rewarding to work with beginning swimmers, and always start my lessons off with the basics to ensure water safety. For my younger students, I love incorporating educational games to keep the lessons upbeat and exciting! Games are a great way to get beginner and young students to learn without them even realizing they are progressing. I am also familiar with instructing adults as well as students with special needs, and always keep my communication with the parents of my students open to ensure successful and fulfilling lessons.
I currently hold certifications for First Aid, CPR, and Lifeguarding, as well as Water Park Lifeguarding. Additionally, I hold certification as a Lifeguard and Merit Badge Counselor with the Boy Scouts. I cannot wait to meet you in the water for lessons!
