I have always enjoyed teaching swim lessons whether to my son or other friends and family members. I have been swimming for as long as I can remember and believe it’s important that everyone learns to swim so they can enjoy the water and be most importantly, be safe when they are in or around it. I want my lessons to be fun and enjoyable but also a time when students will learn as much as they can. Teaching beginners and intermediate students are where I can provide the most value in the lessons. I assess each student, every time, and create a plan to make the most progress in the time we have.

I consider myself a fun person to interact with. I enjoy spending time with my family, swimming, fishing, camping and I like both playing and watching baseball. Many instructors might say Finding Nemo is their favorite movie, but I am split between Cars 1 & 3. I am an American Red Cross certified lifeguard and have completed the Making Waves Swim School training program. I have volunteered and coached with the Special Olympics. Thank you for taking the time to read a little bit about me and I look forward to the opportunity of helping you learn to swim!

I look forward to swimming with you!
