A little about me:
Water has played an integral role in my life. As a child I was fortunate enough to have grown up with many opportunities to be in and around water. I started to take swimming lessons at a young age and quickly developed a passion for swimming. My passion has never ended and I absolutely love being able to contribute my experience and knowledge of the sport as a swim instructor. I’d love to have the opportunity to be helping you achieve all of your swimming goals and dreams. Swimming is not just for your knowledge and fitness; the atmosphere that swimming provides helps build confidence, trust and social skills. I love being a part of an organization that takes pride in passing on their love for water to the next generation of swimmers.
When coming in for your first swim lesson I will assess you or your child’s needs and goals. My primary focus will be to teach survival skills including roll overs, back floats, breathing, etc. From there, forward I will expand your knowledge and eventually develop your free style, breaststroke, butterfly, and backstroke. When teaching, I use positive word language and many high fives.
I currently hold a CPR, First Aid, AED, lifeguarding, and CNA certifications. I’ve spend many hours training, testing, and observing classes to be able to be the best instructor I can be for you or your child.
