A little about me:
I have been teaching and coaching swim for over 25 years, and I love it because the rewards are endless, and I know I’m helping students stay safe in the water. I’m a fun and outgoing person, and this reflects in my teaching style which is also very fun!

I have the patience for swimmers at every level, and realize that everyone needs to start somewhere. Survival skills my students will learn in my lessons come in handy in many scenarios, and can also be life saving. I like to make the class fun while still teaching them the necessary swim skills needed. Safety is my main priority. Parent involvement is very important to me, and I like to get a sense from parents on what they would like to see their children accomplish.

My certifications include Lifeguard, CPR and First Aid, United States Swimming Association Coaching Certificate, and Special Olympics of New Jersey Coaching Certificate. To obtain these I went through intense Special Olympics Coach Training and USSA Coaching Classes. I’m trained in teaching students with special needs as well. I’m very proud of this accomplishment and what it has taught me, and love using the skills I’ve acquired with my swim students.
