A little about me:
I was born to teach swimming! So much in fact that my name is Marlin, like the fish, although its spelled Marlon. I have been teaching swimming since
1991 and have taught thousands of students. I like teaching all levels of students.

The beginners are so much fun and I enjoy being the one to introduce them to the water. I believe that providing an enjoyable environment for beginners to learn to swim is very important. I help them build a
strong foundation which their swim skills will be built on.

The intermediate and advanced students are also rewarding to work with. I expect my students to progress quickly and enjoy what they are learning. I like to create many different activities for them to learn the skills. When they are able to, I will race them across the pool and always push them to reach their goals.

I also enjoy working with adults. It’s never too late to learn to swim and I feel I can teach them what they need to learn. From the basics to stroke mechanics, I can explain and demonstrate the information in a way adults respond to.

In addition I have been working with special needs students since 2001 and have the adaptive teaching style to make sure their lessons are a success.

My other passions besides swimming are soccer, working out and mountain bike riding. While I would love to travel the world, I am happy teaching swimming and hope to have the chance to teach you!
