A little about me:
✨Welcome, future swimming stars!🌟I’m thrilled to introduce myself and be here to make your journey into the aquatic world as smooth and exciting as a perfect dive. My personal connection to water began early in life, fostering a deep and lasting passion. This passion led me to the wonderful opportunity to compete on my High School Swimming Team for all four years of school, an experience that truly highlighted the joy and discipline of the sport. After graduating, l knew I wanted to share that same excitement, to help others discover their full potential in the water, and experience just how fun and rewarding this sport can be! My primary goal is not only to teach the skills of swimming but, more critically, to emphasize the importance of water safety.🌊
When your swimmer starts learning to swim, my main focus is on their safety and comfort in the water. That’s why we always begin with what I call ‘survival skills’ – things like how to float on their back, control their breath, and get to the side of the pool if they accidentally fall in. Think of it like learning to walk before you can run. Once they’re truly comfortable and confident with these essential safety skills, then we move on to the more formal swimming strokes like freestyle or breaststroke. This way, they feel secure and capable in the water first, which actually makes learning the strokes much easier and more enjoyable in the long run. To keep your swimmer motivated, I make sure every lesson is fun and positive, celebrating all their achievements, big or small. I also have experience teaching children with special needs, and I’m always happy to adapt my methods to suit each swimmer’s unique learning style. My goal is to work closely with you to understand exactly what you hope your child gains from swimming lessons, whether it’s just being safe around water or becoming a strong swimmer, and then we’ll work together to achieve those goals.✨
No matter your age or starting point, my goal is to make every swimmer feel completely comfortable and confident in the water. We’ll celebrate every step of progress, no matter how small, building up your skills with steady, encouraging steps. The ultimate aim is for you to not only learn to swim but to truly love being in the water and feel immense pride in every accomplishment, from your very first kick to mastering a new stroke.🏊
Now, I can’t wait to share that same excitement with you and your swimmer! Beyond just learning strokes and kicking like a pro, we’re going to dive into the most important lesson of all: how to be safe and smart in the water. My biggest joy comes from seeing that ‘aha!’ moment when something clicks, or when you conquer a new skill. Get ready to make a splash,🥳 build some awesome skills, and discover just how amazing it feels to glide through the water. I’m genuinely looking forward to celebrating every single one of your victories, big or small!🌊✨💙
