A little about me:
I would describe myself as a charismatic, competitive, loyal and focused person. For me, sports have always formed a large part of training and discipline in all aspects of my life. From a very young age I started playing sports, from swimming, baseball, basketball, and others! Playing sports allowed me to acquire a vast amount of knowledge, leading me to develop a passion to not only participate in sports myself, but also a desire to share that knowledge with others. Because of my love for athletics, I have been very involved in swimming – working as a lifeguard first and then advancing to teaching lessons. My focus in each lesson is building the fundamentals for each of my students and pushing them to learn even further. For me, swimming is one of the perfect sports to gain confidence and acquire physical skills that we didn’t even know we had within ourselves.

I have had the opportunity to swim with both children and adults in lessons and have learned that being a beginner makes you a human! It is about being willing to create a new version of yourself in the water. When we talk about survival it is necessary to understand that before helping others, we must have working knowledge of survival swimming ourselves. Sharing my knowledge with my swimmers is such a motivation, and I hope my lessons bring as much joy to my swimmers as they do for me. I believe that lessons are not only somewhere to go each week, but a place to have great fun while learning such an important life skill. I pride myself on being able to adapt my lessons well to each student, which lends itself greatly to swimmers who have special needs. I also like to discuss goals with my swimmers and/or parents so we all are on the same page and have a clear vision for the lessons they will have.

Currently, I hold my certifications in Lifeguarding, First Aide, CPR and AED. I believe sports are a life source, and I can’t wait to help you on your swim journey!
